Today we remember Jamey Rodemeyer (March 21, 1997 – September 18, 2011)
A year ago today, 14-year-old Jamey committed suicide as a result of the relentless bullying he experienced. ‘Out’ as bisexual and a dedicated activist against homophobia, he was a huge Lady Gaga fan, and sent his last tweet directly to her. A few days later, she dedicated her song, “Hair” to him — a Little Monster lost far too early.To commemorate Jamey and others like him, please reblog as a reminder to be kind and brave, to support one another, and to love yourself.
